Policies

Payment

All payments are made by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We kindly ask that all clients securely store a credit card on file and provide authorization for the card to be processed automatically after each session. We provide receipts with all necessary information including name, date, length of session, rate, total, and the registration number of the counsellor who conducted the session. E-transfers may be accepted. Please speak with your counsellor if you require this option.

Cancellation Policy

In respect of your counsellor’s time, as well as to support appointment availability for other clients seeking care, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment.Please note: Full payment of the session will be required in the event that 48-hour notice isn’t provided. Consideration will be given in the event of emergency circumstances.

Benefits Coverage

Many service providers will cover all or a portion of the cost to see a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Canadian Certified Counsellor or Registered Social Worker under their extended benefits plans. Please contact your service provider to determine what type of coverage might be available. If you are covered for services you will still be required to pay for each session and then be reimbursed by your insurance company. Please be aware that most extended benefits plans do not cover the cost of counselling services provided by practicum students, graduate interns and counsellors awaiting registration (RCC/CCC).
