Noyona ( she/her) offers a therapeutic relationship that is accepting and non-judgemental. She aims to co-create a safe space that supports your healing journey. Her values include compassion, curiosity and equity. She works with anxiety, depression, ADHD, migration, family/relationship difficulties and more.
Noyona uses an integrative approach that is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and centred in core beliefs and parts of self. She views counselling as holistic and honours the biological, social, and psychological dimensions of experiences. She believes in the mind-body connection and likes to examine the interplay between stress, trauma and emotions in our bodies. Seeking counselling can be transformative and she admires you for taking that step.
She also has training in observed experiential integration (OEI) which helps individuals process trauma beyond talk therapy. OEI techniques work to restore perceptions to the levels they were before experiencing psychological trauma. This translates into more positive self-esteem, social confidence, and feeling less “numbed out” or “stuck”.
Noyona enjoys recharging through hot yoga, exploring different coffee shops as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
